Omnia is awarded Intranet Choice Europe badge

Omnia was once again ranked at the top in the market for intranet in a box-products for SharePoint and Office 365. The product got excellent reviews regarding functionality, concepts, pricing, user community and product support in the most comprehensive report in the market.

On a yearly basis, Clearbox Consulting present their report on intranet in a box-products for SharePoint and Office 365. They spend over 700 hours to review 50+ products and publish their conclusion in what might be called a definite guide to turn-key intranets in a Microsoft environment. Going forward the report will be updated on a quarterly basis and will provide great assistance for anyone planning for an intranet initiative. Use this link for more information on the report.

Clearbox doesn’t appoint one product as the best for every organization, but they do hand out badges to some of the reviewed products for specific scenarios. In the latest edition of the report, Omnia was given the badge “Intranet Choice Europe” with the comment that Omnia was one of the highest-scoring products that works elegantly alongside Microsoft’s applications.

– We are happy to see that Omnia was the top-rated product in the report for the third year running, says Anders Fagerlund, Product Offering Manager for Omnia. The report covers a lot of the benefits that we know customers are the most excited about like providing support for complex communication scenarios, an intuitive and personalized user experience, mobility and world-class performance. Hopefully, this will help drive further growth for the product even though the competition in the market is strong.

In the full report, ClearBox stated that Omnia is a strong and attractive product that performs well across all aspects of intranet functionality. It was also mentioned that the product will provide concepts and features that will cater to common needs from administrators, publishers, and end-users.

End-users are likely to be happy with the appealing and easy-to-use approach, while content owners will appreciate a pleasant experience and strong support for creating appealing content with a special mention of extensive media management functionality.

The review also noted that administrators will enjoy the degree of flexibility and control that they have, for instance when it comes to provisioning, controlled life cycles for content and monitoring usage and reviews. The support for handling multi-lingual solutions also got mentions in the report.

Omnia also got positive mentions for the extraordinary performance, with the average time for page loads in an Omnia-based environment is 0,29 seconds.
